WHAT THERAPY WITH ME IS LIKE

My approach aims at helping you quiet your
inner critic and create peace out of chaos.

ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University.

I enjoy working with adults and couples, with my main areas of focus including relationship concerns, anxiety, people-pleasing, depression, self-criticism, trauma recovery, sexual concerns, and recovery from purity culture.

You may be a good fit for me if:

  • You’re highly self-aware but still feel emotionally stuck or disconnected.

  • You overthink, self-criticize, or struggle with feeling “good enough.”

  • You’re healing from relational trauma, family dysfunction, or purity culture.

  • You want to improve your relationships but feel trapped in unhealthy patterns.

  • You’re looking for a therapist who balances deep healing with warmth and humor.

At the heart of my work is the belief that we are made for connection and wholeness. I creates a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, past experiences, and relational patterns without fear of judgment. Whether you’re feeling the weight of self-doubt, navigating complex family dynamics, or trying to unlearn harmful beliefs from the past, therapy with me is a place to unpack it all.

HOW I WORK

Using a mix of experiential, attachment-based, EMDR, and person-centered approaches, I help clients understand their stories, reconnect with themselves, and create new ways of relating to self and others. Therapy can be deep, but it doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time! I try to bring warmth, humor, and a down-to-earth approach to all my sessions.

Understanding that knowing all the “right” things doesn’t always lead to change, I help clients bridge the gap between intellectual knowledge and felt experience.

I am a Christian and am happy to incorporate Christian beliefs into your sessions, if you wish. Additionally, I enjoy working with clients of diverse religious, spiritual, or non-religious beliefs.

I offers sessions both in-person and online.
